The oarsman may be accompanied by up to three passengers on the front bench seat. Typically everyone will have their rods in rod holders. Both the front passenger bench seat and the oarsman bench seat are fully adjustable for fore-aft trim regardless of loading and distribution of weight. The rowing bench seat comes standard with a comfortable padded white tractor seat.
Optional padded swivel bucket seats on side to side adjustable tracks make the front bench seat very comfortable for up to three passengers. The tracks allow side to side weight distribution, placing the heavier person toward the center and the lighter person further toward the side of the boat. This makes the boat much easier for the oarsman to control.
Optional front under seat storage and optional rear under bench seat storage provides a large amount of dry storage volume, removing clutter from the floor of the boat.
Your choice of optional foot release or deluxe side pull anchor systems are available. When running a motor the tail drop anchor bracket quickly comes off with the removal of two 3/8" nuts. An optional bow drop can be installed quickly with 1/4" hardware. Now with the ClackaCraft Tunnel Hull! ClackaCraft has incorporated a patent pending, computer-designed tunnel in the all-new design. The tunnel has been formed in the bottom to reduce the pushing effect of the current. As the water rushes down the tunnel it provides dynamic lift from the water pressure exiting a 1" x 12" x 3' diminishing tunnel, beneath the boat. Three reverse keel tracking channels help keep your ClackaCraft drifting in a straight line. A very slight bottom vee up front, under the passengers feet, helps to reduce the water slapping noise. The nose of the boat is rounded off so not to block the oarsman's vision down stream. The Front Bench (FB) is very easy to maneuver due to the rounded chine and is easy for the oarsman to hold so anglers can work the best fly fishing water.
